Using ankle weights in your class is optional and only suggested to regular clients, who have been attending Barre workouts for a while and willing to take their training to the next level.
Light weights are great to help you build up strength and stamina, tone your muscles and challenge yourself further. 1,5 kg is the perfect medium weight for a Barre workout, however, feel free to opt in for lighter (1 kg) weight especially if you are beginner or for heavier weight (2 or 2,5 kg). Maintaining correct posture throughout the class is always a priority, so please listen to your body and skip the weights if needed.
Add more variety and resistance to your barre training with this light resistance band. Easy to transport and take with you wherever you go, versatile and extremely durable.
This loop band can be used both at the barre and on the mat, adding variety and resistance to your training. Zhivka's recommendation is to opt for "strong", however, feel free to pick the level of resistance that works best for you.
